The maximum amount of student loan that you can get is;
. £4,195 for students living away from home
. £5,175 for students in London & living away from home
. £3,320 for students living at home

Paying the loan back |
The student loan has to be paid back once the course has finished and the persona is earning over £15000 a year. The amount of repayment is linked to the amount you earn so the more you earn the more you pay the Student loan back. If you are unemployed anytime then the payments will cease until you are eligible to repay again.

All eligible students are allowed to take out 75% of the maximum student loan. The remaining 25% depends upon your income as well as the household income which is assessed by your local LEA.
